Data-Driven Decision Making means making decisions that are backed up by data rather than making decisions that are intuitive or based on observation alone. When all developments in education, data-driven decision making has become a much more fundamental part of successful school leadership.
At IAS, we are keen about using data to improve our practice. Since last year starting September 2017, we began using and analyzing all students’ assessment data; especially CAT4 and MAP data, to inform all decisions about teaching, learning, curriculum, student attainment and progress together with our improvement planning. This year, we are expanding our “Pool of Data” to reaching you, our wonderful parents, through surveys and questionnaires to involve you more in our work and to seek your input.
We would like firstly to sincerely thank you for your participation in the weekly plan survey which was shared with you on Thursday 25/10/2018. All survey responses and data have been aggregated and analyzed in order to help us make informed decisions about ways to improve our practice in the academic weekly plan. The whole Senior Leadership Team met to discuss, review, analyze, and interpret the survey results.
